Ah' but now its explained, the reason that people whose belief system is based on tradition have a belief system based on tradition, is because they are stubborn. There are many BTs who become observant only after a great struggle that results from a challenge to their secular beliefs. (The validity of the arguments used in their "conversion" does not seem to be relevant here.) Certainly one can attribute the altered behavior to multiple factors, but why are you reluctant to attribute the change to "stronger conflict-related anterior cingulate activity"?Frum Heretichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17815538809825229710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-310633442210374868.post-72725752883365720692010-08-15T20:24:55.561-04:002010-08-15T20:24:55.561-04:00> both have altered some habitual response patt...> both have altered some habitual response pattern possibly because of stronger conflict-related anterior cingulate activity!<br /><br />True both have altered behaviour; but isn't the attribution, especially in the case of BT's, a big leap?Baal Haboshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12861222390091673835noreply@blogger.com
