"Evolution Has Never Been Observed"

Another bogus argument bites the dust.

When a monkey turns into a man, let me know.

The medrash says that men turned into monkeys at Migdal Bavel, so why not the other way around?

And doesn't Midrash Shmuel say that Chanah's face was monkey-like until she prayed and was blessed by Eli, then "her face was not like it was before," i.e. she became human-looking again? I don't paticularly care for that midrash, and it's as far removed from reality and common sense as a midrash can get, but there it is: a monkey face became a human face.

And let's not forget about Vashti, who according to one opinion did not want to appear before the king because she grew a tail. Wonder if it was prehensile?

A monkey turn into a man? Shouldn't be so difficult, Jake-- after all, you make an ass of yourself routinely.

No one has ever observed one form of life become a very significantly different form spontaneously, which is the basis of evolution. Nor will we ever see it. Not in nature, the lab or the fossil record.

Of course, don't let reality stop you in your search for better sex, God forbid.

Your constant obsession with sex has made it quite obvious that you have a serious problem. Perhaps saa-recovery.org can help you. Let me know how it goes.

NO, it's not. That's the basis for REVOLUTION. Evolution, by definition, is slow gradual change. And you know that.

I took aquik look at the article. I didn't see it say anywere that the actual change formone species to another was actually observed. Only that there are two closely relate species that may have recently evolved apart.

Surely you are not suggesting that "observed" means that some scientists were watching the fish and WHAM - a new species appeared suddenly before their eyes?

What I meant is that I didn't see any mention of changes being observes by scientists from generation to generation, eg evolution.
