Is Nothing Sacred?

Just an excuse to post my all-time favorite Gahan Wilson cartoon.

G-d resembles nothingness which is in and of itself something because it is called "nothingness" and if it wasn't a thing in and of itself it would have no name or conception, but it does even though it has no form. G-d needs not form but has conception and name.

What a remarkable bit of double-talk!

So wish to thank you for posting this! I first read it in the original issue as a teen (kept them under my mattress). Gahan Wilson was forever a source of entertainment for me, and I more looked forward to seeing his latest comic each month than I did the lovely ladies that graced the pages. #freakin'-awesome!!!

Yes, I read that as a youngster myself. My favorite cartoon. Another one of his was the sailor about to have his way when the woman in bed screamed at seeing his tattoo which were the letters "VD". The caption read: "Honest, lady, my name is Virgil Dortmeyer!" (Probably better seen in the original.)
