Pakistan court orders brothers' noses, ears cut off

LAHORE, Pakistan (Reuters) - A Pakistani court has ordered that two brothers should have their noses and ears cut off after they were found guilty of doing the same to a woman who refused to marry one of them, a government prosecutor said on Tuesday.
The judge at an anti-terrorism court in the eastern city of Lahore handed down the sentences on Monday in line with the Islamic law of Qisas.

it is not clear if Torah originally had these laws carried out literary.
if "eye for eye" was carried out literary, than paying for medical expenses makes no sense, which exodus 21:19 requires.
It's really part of an earlier ANE body of law.
s much as I hate Islam, I have to agreewith the verdict!
I concur with anonymous. I have no sympathy for the perpetrators. They should also cut off something below the belt.
